Navigating through the weight loss maze is not easy. You have probably tried
many methods to lose weight, with periods inbetween of release from constraint
(eg., calorie counting and label reading for ‘low fat’ foods) accompanied
by the tendency to pile back on all the weight you lost with such effort. And

This programme goes against the conventional view. The conventional view espouses
diets low in fat, low in cholesterol and high in carbohydrate, with calorie
control. The trouble with these starvation diets (the calories consumed are
less than you need for normal body functions) is that you not only lose fat,
but also lean body mass. They leave the body craving for protein, which are
the building blocks of all our cells. If you do not have enough protein your
body protects vital organs by stealing protein from other parts of the body.
Hormonal problems can result because hormones are made from protein.
