STATISTICS

over half of women and about two thirds of men are overweight
one in five adults not only exceed ideal weight, but also meet the clinical criteria for obesity
obesity has trebled over the last 20 years, and is continuing to increase

Health risks related to obesity are: heart disese, diabetes, cancer, prostate enlargement, femal infertility, and gallstones.
